T.R.U.C.K.-it (The Really Useful Computer Kit)

This newly designed program will cover a range of skills that can be used in both the workplace and the home and will demonstrate how those skills can be used on any of the range of modern devices – a desktop PC, laptop, tablet or smart phone

Students will learn –

How to use Cloud technology to store and share files.

How to search the internet effectively and how to judge the credibility of sites and information retrieved in a search.

How to set up and use email accounts.

Word processing and Spreadsheet skills.

N.B. The Course will be responsive to student requirements, so will be flexible in what it covers.

Places are strictly limited.

BOOKINGS: Must be completed no later than 1 week before course commences to secure your position.  No bookings will be accepted after course commences.

TIME:        9.30 am – 12.00 noon (8 weeks x 2 1/2 hours)

COST:        FREE*
* a $20 refundable deposit is required on booking to secure your place, which will be refunded on you attending 75% of sessions of the course.

Must bring a USB stick to the course.

You will also need to come in and collect an ACE Enrolment form which needs to be completed and returned to Reception prior to the commencement of the course.
